
He currently combines this post with a role as first team doctor at Chelsea Football Club, having previously worked as a sports physician for the English Institute of Sport since 2003. He has overall responsibility for the health and fitness of players in all four programmes. The major task over the last two years has been establishing a high quality sports medicine performance network in a short space of time, in order to provide the players with all they need.
His greatest moment in basketball so far came when the senior men qualified for the 2009 Eurobasket championships in the Czech Republic last year, but he is sure that this will be surpassed in the coming international seasons.
