Chairman, BBF: Bill McInnes
As a player and team captain, Bill represented both Scotland and Great Britain on 175 occasions.
Previously an Area Youth Organiser in Stirling, a Deputy Manager at Meadowbank Sports Centre, and latterly the Centre Manager at Wester Hailes Education Centre in Edinburgh, Bill has a strong sports management background.
A founder member of the Boroughmuir Basketball Club and a member of the team which was British Champions in 1972, he also played in club teams that entered the European Cup on five occasions. Bill has coached at all levels and has been secretary to the Boroughmuir Club since 1961.
Currently Bill is Chair of the British Basketball Federation, a member of the National Olympic Committee, Chair of the British Masters Basketball Association and a Director with basketballscotland, which he previously chaired from 1990 to 2008.
