Since 2006, British Basketball has scored some spectacular successes that have helped place basketball in Great Britain firmly on the sport's world map.

British Basketball held a Talent Identification Camp just before Christmas in Manchester. This was attended by nominated home based players eligible for the U20 squads for competition in the 2010 U20 European Championships.

In preparation for GB's aim of success in Europe at the under 20 age group, Talent Identification camps are taking place in Manchester next Tuesday and Wednesday. The camps are designed to identify talent in the UK leading towards selections for the squads in the summer of 2010.

It was a busy weekend for the Brits throughout the world, but in England the leading ladies went head-to-head in the clash between the City of Sheffield Hatters and UWIC Archers.

Rose Anderson came off of the bench to contribute 5 points in Central Oklahoma's 78-69 win over Midwestern State, while Yemi Oyefuwa hit 2 in nine minutes as Maryland University beat Minnesota 66-45.
