Matthew Bryan-Amaning was one of four Huskies to hit double points but it wasn't enough to stop the University of Washington from losing 99-92 to Texas Tech. It was their first game on the road and also their first loss, which gives Washington a 6-1 record.

Elsewhere in the NCAA Eric Boateng's Arizona State University also lost, their first at home. The Sun Devils went down 64-61 to Baylor. Boateng contributed 3 rebounds and 8 points from 35 minutes.
