The Sheffield Hatters pulled off a convincing double win over the Brixton Topcats (78-53) on Saturday and the Wellingborough Phoenix (32-99) on Sunday. GB's small forward Helen Naylor was top-scorer in both games, sinking 25 and 24 points respectively. In fact Naylor topped the individual stats across the board on Sunday with an impressive eight rebounds, seven assists, five steals and two blocks, while her Hatters and GB team mate Rosalee Mason scored 17 points.
Also in action on Saturday were guard Stef Collins and power forward Meagan Hoffman who scored 35 points between them in their UWIC Archers annihilation of the London Mets 98-33. And Siobhan Prior's team the Nottingham Wildcats narrowly defeated Leeds Carnegie 66-72 despite a top scoring 19 point performance by Joanna Clayden and 7 points from Rehana Khalil.
After the weekend's results The Sheffield Hatters currently top the League with 20 points, closely followed by the UWIC Archers (18 points) and Leeds Carnegie (16 points).
