Sullivan is likely to make his BBL debut this weekend in a double-header against the Worcester Wolves and the Milton Keynes Lions, but his return to the Arena and home fans won't be until the Eagles clash against their Merseyside rivals, the Everton Tigers, in the BBL Trophy semi-final on Sunday February 28.
The London born 29 year old is one of the most popular players in Eagle history and enjoyed massive success in his first stint at the club, notably winning MVP when the Eagles were victorious in the play-offs in his first season in charge. And he was a key player in the team who won a clean-sweep of titles in the 2005-06 season. He again returned to Newcastle on a short-term deal in 2008 while awaiting European offers.
