Unicaja cruised past Murcia 74-89 on the road to keep hold of 6th place alone with a 12-11 record. GB forward Joel Freeland put in an impressive 13 points, 10 rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes, while GB centre Robert Archibald secured eight points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal in his 19 minutes on court. GB forward Dan Clark was also briefly in action to help his team Estudiantes grab an 89-86 home win against Valladolid, joining them and four other team with an 11-12 record.

Unicaja were also playing in the Euroleague Top 16 last Thursday, narrowly losing to Zalgiris Kaunas 89-84, meaning both squads now have 1-3 in their group. Archibald and Freeland posted 17 and 16 points respectively and are set to face their GB team-mate, Pops Mensah-Bonsu, in their next Euroleague clash against CSKA Moscow tomorrow.
