Aris's travelled to France to play Le Mans in a close match which finished 79-75 (halftime 37-37) in the Eurocup Last 16. As a result Aris missed the chance to finish in first spot of Group I. Ashby born Betts, despite the loss, weighted in with 8 points

The result leaves the Greek team in 2nd place with a 3 wins - 3 losses record and they will face Spanish side Power Electronics Valencia in the quarterfinals. The first leg will be held in Thessaloniki on Wednesday 24 March 2010 and the second leg in Spain Wednesday 31 March 2010. If Aris had won in Le Mans, they would play Hapoel Jerusalem, with the second leg at home.

In the other group game, Alba Berlin were victorious with a 62-68 victory against DKV Joventut from Spain.
