In a tough game where the Topcats fought back in the third quarter, saw Naylor top score with 25 points. The fixture was a dress rehearsal for the for this weekends EBL play-off's quarter finals when the Hatters will again take on the Topcats, although this time it will be a home fixture.

UWIC Archers tied up second place in what is only their third season in EBL division one with an 82-55 victory at Sevenoaks Suns. Like the Hatters, this game proved to be a warm-up for the quarter finals as the two teams will meet again this weekend in Cardiff. UWIC, a team which contains a strong core of GB Standard Life personnel, will be hoping to progress through to the semi finals and add to the recently won BUCS title.

Nottingham Wildcats wrapped up third place with a 95-90 victory against a Team Northumbria side they will now host in the playoffs. The final quarter final will be between 4th placed Leeds Carnegie and 5th place Barking Abbey, both teams contain GB Standard Life players in the form of Joanna Clayden and Harriet Yea.
