"We want to go out and prove that we're the best team here" said a clearly determined Lewis.
"We're still disappointed that we're not in the semi-finals, but this is another tournament now and we want to get fifth place.
"We needed the day off, so hopefully we're rested and we can bounce back with a good performance."
Portugal opened the tournament with a 91-86 loss against Bulgaria, and have recorded a three wins from six games, while GB have five wins from their six games.
Lewis knows what to expect when his team return to action on Friday afternoon: "We've seen them play, and they're a typical European team, and we'll see how we go. Everyone's despondent after Wednesday, but it's time to show everyone how good we are."
GB go into the game with four players averaging double-digit points, led by Ovie Soko on 17.8 points per game. Meanwhile, Will Neighbour is fifth in the rebounding charts with 8.3 boards per game and GB have three of the top five passers with Andrew Lawrence (2.8apg), Soko (2.5apg) and Alex Marcotullio (2.2pg) sharing the ball well.
