"Firstly, we are simply pleased to have done what is required to progress" said Jennings.
"For 32 minutes we played with great tempo, controlled the clock and solved problems provided by Israel. The last eight minutes were incredibly testing.
"You would have to be in the arena to appreciate just how disruptive Israel are defensively. They change defensive systems almost on every score - it was their zone press traps that created our most anxious play."
GB now need to beat either Portugal or Belgium in tomorrow's semi-final to clinch a place in the European Championship Division A next season, and the GB coach understands the importance of the game:
"We are obviously pleased to make a semi, but we are treating it like a grand final" he said.
"We came here to compete and I believe we are ready to produce the performance necessary to progress."
If Jennings' team were to win the game they would become the first British age-group team to reach the top tier of European basketball since the current two division system was adopted six years ago.
