"Wow...I am so proud of this team" said Jennings after his side had become the first British team to win a major European title.
"To achieve promotion, which to be honest was mission completed, and then compete the way we did to finish European champions is an incredible feeling.
"This team deserve all the praise they will receive as they represented Great Britain impeccably from start to finish.
"The chemistry and dynamic of this group was the true driving force since day one. I hope this experience and achievement pushes all of them forward to strive for more in their basketball careers and lives in general - something very special was achieved here."
Perhaps the main feature of GB's success was their strength in depth, with Jennings using all of his players in six of the seven games as they finished with a 6-1 record.
Scottish forward/centre Mairi Buchan led the British scoring with 10 points per game, adding 7.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists.
Londoner Mary Durojaye chipped in with 9.7 points and 6.7 boards per game, while Katrin Chiemeka added 7.7 points 2.2 rebounds.
Six of the roster will have the chance to play in Division A next summer with two of them, Ella Clark and Renee Busch, still having two years of eligibility. There's no time for relaxation for point guard Busch, who isn't 18 until Christmas, as she now links up with England under-18s as they attempt to emulate the under-20s by winning promotion.
