"The beginning of the New Year has been good as I am just starting to play again. This season has been a struggle for me because I broke my foot three games in and missed around 12 weeks in total. But, thanks to the wonderful help I have received from Nick Grantham, Michele and Mark from GB I am fitter than I was before I hurt myself and am now just trying to get back into the swing of playing.
"My main focus now is with GB and getting stronger. I have been doing weights four times a week and I have really adjusted my diet. I am eating a ridiculous amount of protein in the hope that I will get some muscles. I am even eating tinned tuna for breakfast. Not the nicest meal but wonderful fuel for my body.
"I am really dedicated to the GB fitness program now and chat with Nick once a week. I started off the season doing some of the Sydney Flames program along with the GB program but now it is all GB. The Olympics is the most important thing for me right now.
"I'm so excited for the Games to cheer on Team GB across all the sports. I would love to see the track cycling or swimming because you can really see what they have endured leading up to the Olympics and what they are going through in their particular race. I also really enjoy watching team sports and if I could catch some beach volleyball that would be great because I think they are such wonderful athletes."
