The two sides met during the 2007/08 Division B campaign - each winning their home game. Mark Clark's side never recovered from a 22-7 first period when they teams clashed in Sarajevo in 2007, and 12 points from Rose Mason couldn't prevent an 82-51 loss.
Things were different the following summer, as the new-look British side - led by 17 points apiece from Kristy Lavin and Megan Moody - won 66-44 at the Amaechi Centre in Manchester. Bosnia piped GB to top spot in the group, but both sides won their play-off to gain promotion to the top flight.
Britain coach Mark Clark will be looking for a performance to match the one in Finland on Saturday as victory would put GB in with an excellent chance of avoiding the drop.
Coach Clark was a happy, if relieved, man after the Finnish victory: "I'm as happy as a coach can be after being 13 down at the end of the first quarter," he said.
"But to be fair we played very hard. To win away from home against a decent team with quality players can't be bad. It was a tremendous efforts all round. In reality, with five or six days preparation we weren't doing to be great offensively, but we had enough shots and played well in the third. We need to keep playing hard, and I expect us to get better . We'll need to as all the games are going to be tough."
