McKay opened for GB, when she picked off the defensive rebound and then made the lay-up. The 6'7" starter was then on hand to turn in Hutchinson's rebound. However the Bosnian's stole the initiative with their own series of baskets to race to a 9-4 lead but Collins levelled within 30 seconds by making a three and jump shot.
Hutchinson and McKay once again combined well to edge GB ahead before Stupar sunk from downtown. The pair were then replaced by Mason and Sally Kaznica before Butler made it one from two at the free-throw line.
Bosnia looked as though they would end the first quarter with a 17-12 lead after a five-point run courtesy of a Tavic jumper and Stupar three, but Mason went four-from-four from the charity strip.
Returning to court the home side hit two free throws and a lay-up which was followed by a similar combination from Harriett Yea.
Britain kept Bosnia at bay for over three minutes in which time they recorded their best run of the game so far, 5-0. Hutchinson notched up her third assist of the half when she set up Butler. The GB captain then made one-from-two at the free throw line, which is where moments later Mason maintained her 100% record to tie the game 24-24.
Mason fouled and Kovacevic converted before McKay made it eight personal with a jumper but didn't break double points when awarded two free throws. Lavin however was on target from the strip and with 30 seconds left of the half McKay shot off the glass before Hutchinson's effort from the free throw line ensured GB had seven players on the scoreboard as well as a 31-31 deadlock.
In the second half Bosnia once again edged ahead but more significantly for GB Collins picked up a non-shooting foul, which was her fourth in total. Britain reduced the five-point deficit inflicted upon them through Butler's lay-up and then Lavin's jumper before Kaznica, who replaced Collins, gave the visitors their first lead since McKay's opening basket. Lavin extended Britain's run to eight-points when she picked off the rebound and made the lay-up before Butler made one of her free throws.
Bosnia quickly ended the run and Britain's lead with two consecutive three pointers, while Mason missed her first free throw of the game, but sunk the second. Lavin then grabbed a basket and one to once again tie the two sides at 46-46.
Britain started the final period with a 54-49 lead after Sarah Naylor and Butler both sunk from the three-point line, with the latter Brit equally dominant under her own basket where she grabbed two defensive rebounds before the end of the third quarter.
GB missed the opportunity to extend their lead in the opening seconds of the fourth when Sarah Naylor saw her three pointer rejected and Meagan Hoffman was unable to capitalise on the offensive rebound.
But undeterred Sarah Naylor made her lay-up and then McKay hit the jump shot after picking up her 10th rebound. Sarah Naylor grabbed yet another basket and by the time Bosnia hit the target Britain's 12-0 run, across the third and fourth periods, had given them an 11-point lead.
Bosnia broke the British run but they were unable to contain the visitors as McKay and Naylor once again found the basket to stretch GB's lead to 20-points. Butler, not wanting to miss out on the offensive action, also made a lay-up and with four minutes remaining Britain called time out with the score 73-53 in their favour.
With victory all but theirs Butler added a pair from the charity strip as did Hutchinson to give GB a well deserved and much needed win.
