Earlier this year, Tim Lewis and Sergio Lara-Bercial were appointed as the Head Coaches for the U20 men's and women's programmes, and they will be joined by two of the longest serving British basketball players, Roger Huggins and Andrea Congreaves.
Both played important roles in last summer's EuroBasket campaigns and will undoubtedly use their international expertise and experience to inspire future senior players. Huggins retired from the sport at the age of 40 while Congreaves was the first Brit to play in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) in America and also won Commonwealth bronze with the England basketball team in Melbourne.

Ron Wuotila, British Basketball Performance Manager, said: "I am excited about the quality of the people coming on board for the 2008 campaign. Blending those individuals who have driven the success of the last two years with experienced and high potential coaches will provide our players with an even better environment in which to succeed this summer.
"I look forward to working with each of them over the coming months as our senior teams commence their EuroBasket Division A preparations and our U20's get ready for the European Division B Championships."
