But while the 27-year-old is delighted to have been named in the All Star Game he believes that it will be GB who will reap the ultimate reward.
" Making the All-Star team is a great accomplishment for me. It"s good to be recognised in a league with so many other great players,"€ said Lenzly.
"My first season at Mons has been pretty good. The top five teams in the league have very close records, so it should be a very tight race going into the playoffs.
"Coming here with the other GB guys has made the transition easier. We know each other and are familiar with each other's style, so that has helped with how fast our team was able to come together as far as getting on the same page and playing the style Chris wanted.
"I think it will only make the national team better. Last summer there were a lot of new players on the team and we were able to come together and get our goals accomplished. Any extra time guys get to play together, I'd say brings more chemistry to the team.
"My hopes are that we continue to build on the things we did last summer and improve as a team. With the talent we have, I like our chances."€Â
Lenzly is not the only GB representative in the All Star team, with Finch being named as one of the coaches and he too was quick to reiterate the benefits the Belgium domestic season will have on the national team.
"Playing meaningful games together and getting to know each other, as well as me, always is a benefit,"€ said Finch.
"Mike has been extremely versatile for us and has been a pleasant surprise as a scorer.
"Qualification for EuroBasket finals 2009 will be tough, but it's a doable thing. We have to get our best players there and we have to build on last year's chemistry and culture as well as excecute our stuff very precisely."€Â
GB will play the Czech Republic, Israel and Bosnia & Herzegovina in September.
