Preceding the Game On At The O2 highlights will be an hour's basketball feature on the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) programme. The AASE is an apprenticeship programme aimed at elite young athletes (16-19) and is currently being delivered across more than12 sports, including basketball, with in excess of 2500 learners on the programme

The commitment, alongside UK Sport, Sport England, TASS and YST is to embed AASE as part of the talent pathway for all sports before 2012.
