

Britain were level going into the final period, but in a physical, and often volatile game, the Turks' experience eventually showed through.
Nick George finished top scorer for GB with 11 points while Joel Freeland hit nine points and pulled down eight boards. Dan Clark also had nine points, plus eight rebounds while Nate Reinking and Flinder each hit eight apiece.
Turkey were led by 18 Ersan Ilyasova points plus 11 boards, with Hedo Turkoglu adding 15 points.
The Turks won the tip, but it took the 8:12 mark for Great Britain to become the first team to trouble the scorers as Nate Reinking sunk a trey.
Omer Asik replied with a stuff to make it a one point game with 7:10 on the clock before George jammed the ball home to maintain GB's lead.
NBA start Turkoglu missed a pair of free-throws as Britain remained ahead at the midway point, with a Freeland hook making it 7-4.
That lead grew to 12-6 as Boyd converted a three-point play with 3:21 on the clock, and the same player hit one from two at the line 30 seconds later to make it a five point game.
Boyd continued to live at the line, hitting another one from two, and although Kieron Achara appeared to be fouled as he collected the r ebound, Poland were able to break out and reduce the arrears to 14-11 with a tip-in off a Turkoglu miss from the charity stripe.
Turkoglu sat down immediately after, as he collected his third foul of the game, with Dan Clark splitting a pair from the line to put GB 15-11 ahead
However, it was Omar Onan who scored the final points of the period to cut the hosts' lead to 15-13 at the first break.
Onan opened the second period scoring with a baseline lay-up, but a lovely Achara pass to Freeland saw Britain regain the lead.
Ilyasova hit a trey off a missed free-throw to give Turkey their first lead of the game, and with Achara picking up his third foul of the game, coach Finch called a time-out at the 7:32 mark and Turkey leading 19-17.
Ilyasova scored both free-throws out of the timeout to make it a four point game and take his personal tally to ten, but Mike Lenzly hit a trey to cut the deficit to one point with six minutes remaining.
George kept Finch's team in touch with a single free-throw as Britain's struggles from the charity stripe continued, and the Turks led 26-21 at the midway stage of the period.
George continued to be Britain's main offensive thread as he capitalised on a Turkey turnover to jam the ball home, but as England continued to collect fouls, Asik missed a pair of free-throws only to see GB knock the ball out of bounds at the rebound.
Freeland missed another pair from the charity stripe, but Clark grabbed the rebound, and Justin Robinson made it a one-point game with a pair of free-throws.
Robinson again netted after a good pick from Clark, but Turkey remained ahead with Asik dunking home to send Turkey into the final minute of half.
However, Clark drained a trey from the top of the key, only to see Onan again score, and it was Turkey who went into the locker room with a 33-30 after an air-ball from the visitors on the buzzer.
The start of the second half was delayed by a shot-clock problem, but GB caused the Turks to commit a shot clock violation before Lenzly made it a one point game, and Freeland hit a single free-throw to tie it at 33 80 seconds into the period.
Reinking made it a 6-0 tear with a trey, and with Britain forcing another shot clock violation, Turkey called a timeout with 7:10 on the clock as the home side led 36-33.
Turkoglu ended the run with a pair of free-throws, and he followed up with a trey to put his side 38-36 ahead only to see George level with a stuff off Reinking's long pass.
Achara was forced to sit down again as he picked up his fourth foul, but Boyd's shot off the backboard saw Britain remain in touch.
Turkoglu collected a technical, and his coach Tanjevic followed suit before being ejected. Robinson hit one from two from the line before Boyd converted two of four to go into a 45-44 lead.
Clark buried another trey to make it an eight point game before Ilyesova ended the 8-0 run with a put back.
With Britain 48-46 ahead at the 35 second mark, the game erupted with several Turkish players throwing punches after Robinson had committed a foul. After a referee's time out, Turkey went to the line, and Onan drained both shots to level the score at 48 going into the final break
Asik opened the fourth period scoring after two and a half minutes, but George halved the deficit from the foul line with 6:11 on the clock.
Onan struck a dagger he hit a trey to put his team 55-49 ahead with 5:11 left, forcing Finch to call a time-out.
Achara shaved a point off from the line, and Asik made Britain pay for another rmiss at the other end before Achara drained a trey to make it 57-43 4:22 from time.
George also scored from the Land of Plenty to make it a one point game before Lenzly fouled out, and Ilyasova hit a pair from the stripe.
Boyd swiftly followed him to the bench on eight points after a foul on Turkoglu, and the big Turk hit one of two to put his side 60-56 ahead before an offensive foul was called on Freeland.
Freeland halved that deficit with a slam, but Turkoglu hit one from two to make it 61-58 heading into the final two minutes.
Turkoglu again could only hit the front end of a pair of free-throws, but Ilasova was fouled by Clark on the rebound, and sunk the first before missing the second.
Again, Turkey collected the rebound, and Turkoglu returned to the line to hit both free-throws and make it a seven point game.
Clark made it 65-50 before he again fouled Ilyasova, and he sunk both shots. Robinson made it a five point game again before GB called a time-out with 67-62 remaining.
Robinson turned the ball over from the inbound, and Turkoglu and Ilasova wrapped things up from the line.
