It was the first victory of the summer for Chris Finch's team, and the GB head coach was pleased with how his team played in the second half:
"It's a decent start to the tournament, Belgium are a good team and have had some good results in their previous games.
"I was disappointed by how we played in the first half because we let them push us around, but the guys came out in the second half and turned things around by being the more assertive team.
"We had some good performances from the younger players such as Dan Clark, Ogo Adegboye and Eric Boateng and I'm looking for us to continue that against Israel tomorrow. They will give us a really good challenge, and that's what we need at this stage of the summer."
The teams shared 48 first period points to go into the first break level, but the Belgians took control in the second period as they outscored GB 21-12 to lead 45-36 at half-time.
Finch's team-talk clearly worked as Britain sliced that lead to 57-55 at the final break before his team wrapped things up with a 29-23 final stanza.
Adegboye added 20 points for GB, with Clark chipping in with ten as they improved their 2010 record to 1&2.
