Damian has been involved with GB basketball since its inception in 2006. In all 5 camps to date Damian has been an Assistant Coach to the senior women's programme from its early competition in Eurobasket Division B, promotion to Division A & its recent inclusion in the World University Games.

Away from GB basketball Damian is a Senior Lecturer in Sports Managment at UWIC in Cardiff, alongside the Head Coach of the Wales' senior women's programme that competes in Eurobasket Division C, as well as the Programme Lead & Head Coach for the UWIC Archers in EBL Division 1. 2008-09 saw the UWIC Archers reach the National Cup Final, finish 2nd in the regular season and play-off finalists in only their 2nd season in the top-flight british league. The University based programme also picked up its second undefeated season to win back-to-back British National Universities Championship titles. Damian received 'Coach of the Year' 2008-09 honours for the EBL Div 1, alongside a debut as the England 'All-Star' Coach at the EBL 2009 All-Star game.

Damian is also in his final year of the newly created 'FIBA Europe Coaching Certificate'.
