Since 2006, British Basketball has scored some spectacular successes that have helped place basketball in Great Britain firmly on the sport's world map.

British Basketball held a Talent Identification Camp just before Christmas in Manchester. This was attended by nominated home based players eligible for the U20 squads for competition in the 2010 U20 European Championships.

In preparation for GB's aim of success in Europe at the under 20 age group, Talent Identification camps are taking place in Manchester next Tuesday and Wednesday. The camps are designed to identify talent in the UK leading towards selections for the squads in the summer of 2010.

As much as Coach Jennings and the players were pleased to be back at the sanctuary of the Archers Arena after a very tough week on the road losing to Leeds Carnegie, they certainly didn't start with a sense of home-court advantage.
