The Chicago Bulls star, whose Eastern Conference side lost 152-149 to the West in Florida, saw just six minutes of action in the first quarter on Sunday night. Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau, also the head coach for the Eastern Conference All-Stars, decided not to put Deng back into the game after he fell on his wrist during the first ten minutes of action.
In the highly anticipated game which saw the NBA's finest players come together for a fantastic exhibition of basketball, the Western Conference side led for most of the game. The East managed to cut a 21-point deficit to one in the closing seconds, but weren't able to move in front.
A highlight of the game came when LA Lakers' star, Kobe Bryant grabbed his 27th point and overtook Michael Jordan's top spot for All-Time All Star Game Points Scored, Bryant is now 271 to Jordan's 262. Oklahoma City Thunder's Kevin Durant had 36 points in the All Star game which saw him awarded MVP.
