Michael Jordan in 2020 is just a legend in words, because many haven’t seen him play. We’ve made a selection of five games to showcase his greatness.

Michael’s 63 points against Boston. 1986 1st round playoffs.

The Chicago Bulls enter the playoffs in 8th place with a negative win-loss statistic (30/52) and fall to Boston, led by Larry Bird. The Celtics were too good that year. No one ever thought the Bulls would offer decent resistance. But that turned out to be a mistake. On the first play of the series, it was as if Michael couldn’t see the defenders and scored 49 points. It seemed like a lot more than that. He would have to try very hard in a couple of days to recover and play the next game at least well. But Michael didn’t care; he came out in game two determined to win and scored a record 63 points in the playoffs.

61 vs. Detroit

Detroit in the ’80s were known for playing tough. Michael had a special relationship with them. It was one of the tightest games between the Bulls and Pistons, in which Michael scored 61 points.

Career record against Cleveland

Regular Season. There was going to be a fundamental confrontation. It wasn’t the first year that Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls and himself had been burying the Cavaliers’ plans. A year earlier, Jordan had thrown 54 points into their basket and two years earlier had kept them out of the playoffs. The next morning, all the newspapers sparked signs about his Air Force record: 69 points, 18 rebounds, six assists in 50 minutes of play. A historic moment in the world of basketball!

At the time, the oldest player to score 50 points

Michael’s return after a three-year hiatus. He would turn 39 in two weeks. But Jordan always had a reason to be surprised and could be expected to do just about anything. He proved it again against the Hornets, where he scored a record 51 points for a 38-year-old player.

Last game for the Bulls and six championships

That famous 1997-1998 season. Game 6. Chicago wins its sixth and third consecutive NBA championship, and Michael Jordan plays his last game for the club he played for for 13 years.
